Simple Pork Chops & Gravy

Okay, so, no pictures.

Trust me, the pictures did not do this meal justice! But, WOW, this was good (and also very fast!). I swear it was done in about 15-20 minutes.

Ingredients:


1 lb Boneless Pork Chops (lean, about 130 calories per 4 oz)
1 cup milk
1 Tbs vinegar
Salt & Pepper
Seasonings, as desired
1 cup all purpose flour
1 pkg country gravy mix
1 cup water



1) Combine all and marinate in fridge-mine marinated about 9 hours. 
2) After marinating pork, take pork chops out of marinade.
3) Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Dredge pork chops in flour mix.
4) Get a skillet hot (do NOT use a non-stick skillet!!!!), spray with non-stick spray or oil, and sear pork on both sides. Cover with a lid after searing for remainder of cooking time.
*In order to get a good sear on the pork, try and not move the pork around in the skillet too much.*
5) Once pork is cooked through, remove from skillet.
6) In the same skillet that you cooked the pork in, make gravy according to package directions.
*Be sure and whisk up all the yummy pork bits & drippings!*
7) After bringing gravy to a boil, reduce heat, and add pork back to skillet with gravy. Simmer for a few minutes.
8) Enjoy!!!


I was craving a "steakhouse" baked potato-picked one up after work to go along with my pork & gravy. Also, served sweet carrots as a side.
Really, really good. I will DEFINITELY make this again!
